The degree programme Biochemistry and Molecular Biomedical Sciences deals with different questions of molecular biology. The interdisciplinary subject combines contents of biology, medicine and chemistry. In the master’s programme “Biochemistry and Molecular Biomedical Sciences” examinations in the compulsory subjects “molecular biology”, “cell biology”, “biochemical analytics” and subjects from the catalogue of elective subjects must be passed. Three elective blocks, which are organised in modules, are available to students; these are “module molecular biomedicine”, “module cell biology” and “module enzymology and structural biology”. The degree programme concludes with an examination before a committee and a master’s thesis.
