The European Master in Animal Breeding and Genetics (JDP) programme specialises in all aspects of breeding, husbandry and feeding of livestock. An “Applied Period” is a compulsory work placement which students have to do in a national, transnational or international organisation. The aim of this is to get a first insight into the industry and the application of the theoretical knowledge in a real working environment. The master’s thesis is a scientific paper with a high international standard and serves to get a joint degree (degree consisting of two master’s degrees of two different universities). Thus the research work will be supervised by a professor of each of the two universities. A study period abroad is compulsory.Dauer / Arbeitsaufwand (ECTS)
