The degree programme in Inclusive Education offers science-related and interdisciplinary oriented pre-professional education for a future occupation in research and practice fields in inclusive education for handicapped people and disadvantaged groups. Special emphasis is put on three aspects of the programme: Theory orientation, action orientation and research orientation. The degree programme lasts four semesters and consists of the following modules: M A: Theory-related analysis of inclusive education models, processes and institutions, M B: Diagnostics and intervention in case of special upbringing and educational needs, M C: Action skills in inclusive education, M D: Research methods and their application, M E: Empirical research and evaluation, M F: General education / social pedagogy. Some courses are held in English, if this has been advertised beforehand. Moreover, students can choose between elective subjects (e.g. psychology, sociology, etc.) or they can do a subject-relevant work placement of a maximum of eight weeks corresponding to full-time employment within the framework of the elective subjects. Students also have to write a master's thesis. A study abroad semester is also possible.Dauer / Arbeitsaufwand (ECTS)
