The core skills of architecture are planning, construction and design. Tasks include detailed planning, support structure planning and object planning, urban development, landscape design and spatial planning as well as the design of virtual spaces, always taking into account artistic, technical, ecological and social aspects. The degree programme consists of compulsory and elective modules. The compulsory modules are: lectures on architecture, lectures on architecture and urban planning, civil engineering M, planning M1 and planning M2. Students can choose three elective modules out of nine. These are: theory of architecture, building history and building research, intelligent buildings, methods and processes, town and landscape, elective module – design research, space concepts, interior and design and architecture and experiment. Moreover three compulsory specialisation modules are to be studied. These can be found in a course catalogue. The degree programme concludes with a master thesis and the defence of the master thesis.Dauer / Arbeitsaufwand (ECTS)
