The core skills of architecture are planning, construction and design. Tasks include detailed planning, support structure planning and object planning, urban development, landscape design and spatial planning as well as the design of virtual spaces, always taking into account artistic, technical, ecological and social aspects. The degree programme consists of two parts. The following modules are the core areas of the degree programme: 1. history of architecture, theory of architecture, arts and culture, 2. core competence Architecture Planning, 3. construction, technology, materials and 4. architectural presentation and art practices. Other modules are elective courses and excursions. Elective courses serve to set individual priorities and further development of the students and can be chosen freely from all courses on offer. The two excursions provide an opportunity to look into the current developments in the building culture and the cultural history legacy in urban planning and architecture during the bachelor programme. They can be carried out in Austria or abroad. The bachelor thesis consists of the courses Planning 4 and Planning of specialised topics.Dauer / Arbeitsaufwand (ECTS)
