The core skills of architecture are planning, construction and design. Tasks include detailed planning, support structure planning and object planning, urban development, landscape design and spatial planning as well as the design of virtual spaces, always taking into account artistic, technical, ecological and social aspects. The degree programme consists of compulsory subjects, a catalogue of elective subjects and optional subjects. The following compulsory subjects are relevant: urban research, architectural technology, planning aspects of building theory, urban development, integral landscape, theory of architecture today, project exercise I, project exercise II and project exercise III. The courses which must be studied in the optional subject serve to set individual priorities and further development of the students. They can be chosen freely from the courses on offer. It is recommended to spread the courses that can be chosen freely over the whole duration of the degree programme. The programme concludes with a master thesis and a master’s examination before a committee.Dauer / Arbeitsaufwand (ECTS)
