The degree programme “Biomedical Engineering” is to enable graduates to work at the interface between technology, medicine and biology. This results in a broad spectrum of occupations in healthcare engineering, medical research and hospital technology. The bachelor programme is divided into two stages. The first stage consists of introductory courses and serves as an orientation for first-year students. The second stage of the programme consists of more specialised courses and elective courses. To complete the programme successfully a bachelor thesis must be written in the course “biomedical seminar project” and the exams in the examination subjects listed must be passed.Dauer / Arbeitsaufwand (ECTS)
