The degree programme Mechanical Engineering – Management in Austria primarily deals with the economic issues that play a part in the mechanical engineering field (planning, construction and production of machines, vehicles, plants, etc.). It provides a combination of engineering and economic qualifications. The curriculum of this programme combines the contents of the two disciplines Mechanical Engineering and Applied Economics. It includes both introductory and specialising courses in mathematics, mechanics, production engineering and physics and sound education in political economics and business administration (accountancy, personnel management, finance, law, logistics). The last part of the programme consists of two elective blocks which allow students to specialise in product development or in production and it provides an insight into advanced areas such as automobile engineering, lightweight construction or biomedical engineering.Dauer / Arbeitsaufwand (ECTS)
