The degree programme Mechanical Engineering – Management in Austria primarily deals with the economic issues that play a part in the mechanical engineering field (planning, construction and production of machines, vehicles, plants, etc.). It provides a combination of engineering and economic qualifications. The general part of the programme (compulsory) includes the courses Corporate information systems, controlling, personnel and personnel management, process management as well as stochastics and competition theory. Specific knowledge can be acquired by choosing from the thirteen elective modules. These are: work planning and control, general management, ergonomics and safety at work, project management, logistics, factory and system planning, process and quality management, computer-integrated production, innovation management and foundation of companies, competition and industrial politics, corporate finance as well as risk management and IT-based corporate accounting.Dauer / Arbeitsaufwand (ECTS)
