Description
Production Science and Management is a classical engineering discipline. It basically deals with the planning, construction and production of machines, vehicles, appliances, plants, etc. Topics include materials science, thermal and thermodynamics, mechanics and fluid mechanics, construction, production and control engineering, etc. The curriculum includes on one hand a compulsory basics module consisting of the courses of “Industrial Management Seminar“, “Advanced Processing Technologies“, “Engineering and Business Informatics” and on the other hand a series of compulsory and elective courses from alternative specialisations in “Advanced Technologies“ and “Management and Social Economics”, of which one must be chosen. The degree programme also includes a subject-relevant work placement in a non-German-speaking country, which the students have to organise themselves. The programme concludes with a master’s thesis and a master’s examination, which is taken before a panel.Duration / Workload (ECTS)
