Description

The aim of the Master in Environmental Meteorology programme is to enhance the scientific education of students holding a bachelor's degree in atmospheric sciences, meteorology, environmental engineering or similar disciplines. The graduates will have advanced knowledge and methodological knowledge in the fields of meteorology and atmospheric sciences in general and in environmental aspects in particular, such as dispersion of air pollutants, atmospheric chemistry, hydrology, agricultural meteorology, forest meteorology or energy meteorology. Graduates will be able to use their acquired knowledge and skills to develop methodologically sound problem-solving strategies both in a private and in the public/social environment. The graduates will be able to apply their acquired knowledge and skills to solve new problems/tasks that may only become acute after they have completed their studies. This means that they will be able to classify and analyse new challenges or opportunities on the basis of their knowledge in order to develop optimal solutions.
