Description

The degree programme in Management in Chemical Technologies in Austria primarily deals with the economic issues that play a part in the technical chemistry field (analysis and production of substances and materials). It provides a combination of engineering and economic qualifications. The curriculum consists mostly of compulsory courses related to the following areas: “Management Basics“, “Management Advanced“, “Chemical Technology and Process Engineering“, “Management and Law Electives“, “Advanced Chemical Technology and Process Engineering“ and “Advanced Chemistry, Analytics, Technologies, Patents, Engineering and Soft Skills Electives”. The master’s thesis as a rule consists of experimental research work the results of which must be documented in the form of a written assignment. The programme concludes with an oral overall examination before a committee.
