Description
The discipline of Computer Science covers the use of modern methods of software engineering, formal languages, mapping of intelligence in software and programming of operating systems before the background of system environments that are becoming more and more complex. The master’s programme lasts four semesters and includes the following subjects: Concepts of concrete and abstract machines, system-oriented programming with C, programming of mobile appliances, scientific computing 1 (1st semester); Computational intelligence, Ubiquitous Computing project, Scientific computing 2, compulsory electives (2nd semester); Simulation and modelling, Ubiquitous Computing project (practical application, also in direct cooperation with the economy), special topics of the research centres, compulsory electives (3rd semester); master’s thesis, software processes and software quality, IT law (4th semester). The students have to write a master’s thesis.Duration / Workload (ECTS)
